PMP

Preparation for the Project Management Professional exam, awarded by PMI.

What this page is — and is not

Tanith Academy does not award PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Scrum.org, IIBA, AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, ACCA, CIM or GRI credentials. We prepare candidates. Where a cohort is delivered by an authorized partner, that provider is named. A Tanith certificate of completion or participation is not the external professional certification.

What the certification is

  • PMP is PMI’s experienced-practitioner credential. It signals that you can lead projects across predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. Tanith Academy teaches the exam content outline. PMI decides eligibility and awards the credential after its own examination.

Issuing organization

  • Project Management Institute (PMI)

Professional benefits

  • A widely recognised signal of project leadership for employers and clients.
  • A shared language for scope, risk, stakeholders and delivery.

Eligibility

  • Experience leading projects, plus contact hours of formal project management education. PMI publishes the exact thresholds and audits applications.

Prerequisites

  • Comfort with a real project you have contributed to. No Tanith course is a PMI prerequisite.

Examination

  • Computer-based exam administered for PMI. The official fee, length and question count are set by PMI and are not included in the training price.

Official exam fees are charged by the issuing body and are not included unless a cohort states otherwise.

Training format

  • Live online intensive, with a self-paced question lab.

Training provider

  • Tanith Academy faculty. This is preparation, not a PMI-issued credential and not a claim of Authorized Training Partner status.
