Lean Six Sigma
Belt preparation with the examination body named before you enrol.
What this page is — and is not
Tanith Academy does not award PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Scrum.org, IIBA, AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, ACCA, CIM or GRI credentials. We prepare candidates. Where a cohort is delivered by an authorized partner, that provider is named. A Tanith certificate of completion or participation is not the external professional certification.
What the certification is
- Lean Six Sigma is a family of methods, not a single global licence. Yellow, Green and Black Belts are offered by several organisations, with different exams. Tanith will not print “certified Black Belt” on a completion certificate. The belt, if any, comes from the body whose exam you sit.
Issuing organization
- Multiple bodies, including IASSC and ASQ — confirm which exam
Professional benefits
- A disciplined way to describe a process problem and test an improvement.
Eligibility
- Depends on the body and the belt. Yellow Belt is the open starting point.
Prerequisites
- A process you can see. A factory is not required.
Examination
- Only if you choose IASSC, ASQ or another named body. Their fee is extra.
Official exam fees are charged by the issuing body and are not included unless a cohort states otherwise.
Training format
- Self-paced Yellow Belt. Green Belt is a separate quotation.
Training provider
- Tanith Academy. The belt body, if used, is named on your confirmation.
